Overall Condition This pen is in Excellent condition.

Nib Correct and perfect #4 original Montblanc nib in 14K in Medium (M) size, matching the blind cap imprint. The feed is the correct flat safety style. Imprints are clear and crisp.

Cap and Body No large scratches, cracks, or owner imprints. Great color on cap and body, with only slight darkening from age on the snowpeak. Light brassing only on the high points of the clip. Cap imprint is crisp and deep, and body imprint is mostly visible. Blind cap imprints are clear and distinct.

Additional details The pen is a great example of an uncommon model. Montblanc first produced safety pens in the early part of the century, but a conservative streak kept the company producing the filling system (in ever decreasing numbers) into the mid-1930s. This model was an example of these final safety pens, and was the largest model produced in the second price class.
The pen will need a new cork to fill correctly.

Payment by money order or cashiers check. Domestic buyer can pay by personal check, but must wait for it to clear my bank before shipment. International buyer by money order or bank draft in US funds, or by SWIFT wire transfer (additional $10 charge applicable). For payments through PayPal, please add 3% to the price (4% for international purchasers).

Buyer to pay actual cost of shipping via priority mail plus insurance. Will ship internationally, but again, buyer to pay shipping costs plus insurance.
