Overall Condition This pen is in Excellent condition.

Nib Correct and perfect #4 original Montblanc nib in 14K in Fine (F) size. The feed is the correct flat safety style. Imprints are clear and crisp.

Cap and Body No large scratches, cracks, or owner imprints. Great color on cap and body. Minimal brassing only cap band and clip band. Cap imprint is crisp and deep, and body imprint is mostly visible. Blind cap imprint is clear and distinct.

Additional details The pen is a great example of an uncommon model. Montblanc first produced safety pens in the early part of the century, but a conservative streak kept the company producing the filling system (in ever decreasing numbers) into the mid-1930s. This model was an example of these final safety pens, and was the largest model produced in the third (economy) price class.
The pen is functioning and ready to write.

Payment by money order or cashiers check. Domestic buyer can pay by personal check, but must wait for it to clear my bank before shipment. International buyer by money order or bank draft in US funds, or by SWIFT wire transfer (additional $10 charge applicable).
