Overall Condition This pen is in Excellent+ condition.

Nib Correct #2 original Montblanc nib in Extra Fine (EF) size, matching the blind cap imprint. Nib shows some plating loss. The feed is the correct flat style and the imprints are clear and crisp.

Cap and Body No significant scratches, cracks, or owner imprints. Perfect color and no significant brassing on cap or clip. Cap imprint is crisp. Blind cap imprint for the nib size is clear and visible, but the model number is only faintly visible.

Additional details The pen is a great example of a very rare model that was produced for only a short time. Additionally, it is the very rare mottled-red color that is usually only seen in reference books.
The pen includes the correct and interesting tall derby.

Overall, it is in superb condition and would make a showcase item for one's Montblanc collection.

I have not put a new sac in the pen, but will do so at the buyer's request.
